Bioeconomy is a priority area of the University of Hohenheim’s research agenda. Accordingly, researchers from diverse disciplines and institutes from the University are working collaboratively towards the transition to a sustainable bioeconomy. In this respect they would like to further promote research on Acrocomia as a promising crop for the establishment of sustainable productive systems in Latin America.
Considering the importance of interdisciplinary and transnational research, they would like to strengthen their network and collaboration with scientists and practitioners from countries were Acrocomia grows and research is undertaken. This workshop will help to identify major research advances and knowledge gaps along the Acrocomia value chain and envision perspectives and opportunities for future collaborative research and development projects.
