The 3rd International Bioeconomy Congress Baden-Württemberg 2020 will be an inter- and transdisciplinary meeting for experts and stakeholders dedicated to systemic approaches of a sustainable bioeconomy. This years' congress comes with the title “The contribution of Bioeconomy to the Green Deal” and will discuss how innovative products, processes, principles and regional circles can contribute to mitigation of climate change, reducing pollution, supporting resource efficiency and other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The conference will take place at the beautiful campus of the University of Hohenheim in close proximity to Stuttgart airport.

The program will include a podium discussion with ministers from Baden-Württemberg, two plenary sessions with high level keynote speakers and expert discussions as well as 15 parallel sessions and a poster session. Networking opportunities will be provided including an evening event at the first congress day.

A call for contributions will open in January and exhibition space is available for companies willing to present their technology or products.

Due to the current situation the deadline for submitting the abstracts was extended to 6 May 2020.
